Nexans’ Direct Electrical Heating (DEH) cable systems will be installed to help in maintaining the reliable flow of products from the Shah Deniz  field, located in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.

The contract covers the supply of halogen free flame retardant and fire resistant LV cables that will be manufactured at the Nexans factory in Denizli, Turkey.

Nexans had been awarded with this contract for the supply of cables for this project for a total amount of about half a million euros.

Nexans signed a 2,7 million euro contract for supply 220 kV "turn-key" cable line.

Baku Shipyard LLC develops and manages a new 52-ha shipbuilding and ship repair facility in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The customer had chosen Nexans among other cable producers because its company name, product quality and reliability.

Nexans has been awarded a major contract by Petrofac, the international provider of facilities solutions to the oil & gas production and processing industries, to supply specialized low voltage (LV) cables for a gas field development project in Turkmenistan.
